One-to-One Tuition

Sessions are available from one hour through to a full day, depending on what you need.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills, these sessions are built entirely around you. We’ll focus on the areas you want to improve, the things you’re unsure about, and how to move your photography forward.

This is very much a hands-on learning experience. I’ll only pick up my own camera to demonstrate a point — the focus stays on you throughout. Rather than taking you to my usual spots and telling you what to shoot, I’ll guide, suggest, and share practical techniques you can apply anywhere.

There are no wrong questions, and no expectation around equipment. You don’t need top-end gear — just a working camera and a bit of curiosity.

Before the session, we’ll have a quick phone or Zoom call to discuss your goals so I can plan the day and make the most of our time together. Afterwards, I’m happy to provide feedback and critique on your images.

My teaching style is relaxed but purposeful. You’ll come away with new knowledge, but just as importantly, with renewed confidence and enjoyment in your photography.

Locations & Availability

Sessions are usually held in Nottingham city centre or nearby woodland locations, though I’m happy to travel further if needed.
