Photography Books
Explore my photography books, currently featuring two very different photographic projects. Shifting Light, Shifting Seasons accompanied my 2025 exhibition and brings together three years of photographs made in and around Bestwood, Nottinghamshire. The book explores the changing character of a familiar local landscape and the idea that we don't always have to travel far from our front door to find photographic inspiration.
Impressions of Uist is a much smaller and more spontaneous project, created during a brief visit to the Isle of Uist in Scotland. Rather than attempting to document the island comprehensively, the book is a personal collection of impressions from a short stay, bringing together landscapes, details and moments that caught my eye.
Together, the books reflect two different approaches to photography: spending years getting to know a familiar place, and responding to somewhere new during a much shorter visit.
