I’m a Nottingham-based photographer with an interest in woodland, landscape, and urban photography.

My work explores a personal response to the environment, capturing both the bigger scenes and the fleeting details that often go unnoticed — moments when light reveal details and subtleties so easily missed.

Keen to evolve, in recent years my work has headed away from literal representation towards a focus on creative techniques such as in-camera multiple exposures and intentional camera movement (ICM), which allow me to respond to the landscape and represent it in a more expressive and sometimes abstract way.

I have exhibited my work in local galleries in both solo and group exhibitions. In 2025 I published a book to accompany my exhibition ‘Shifting Light, Shifting Seasons: Bestwood Through a Local Lens’ and I am currently working on a book documenting the visual legacy of coal mining in Nottinghamshire for the publisher Amberley (due 2027). A solo exhibition with Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is planned for October 2026.

I actively participate in local craft fairs, showcasing a wide range of my work. I also offer one-to-one tuition and small group workshops, and I am available for speaking engagements at camera clubs and similar events.

Additionally, I provide restoration and digitisation of old photographs and artworks, and I am available for commissioned projects.

If you’d like to connect or discuss a project, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
