Exploring Light and Landscape
I’m a Nottingham-based photographer with a passion for capturing the beauty in both the built and natural world. My work ranges from the textured streets of urban environments to the tranquil paths of ancient woodlands and the dramatic landscapes of the Peak District.
I’m especially drawn to creative techniques such as multiple exposures and Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) which allow me to explore mood, motion, and atmosphere in unique and abstract ways.
As well as capturing the bigger scenes I find that I'm captivated by the smaller fleeting details in our landscape - those moments when light reveals details and moments so easily missed.
Alongside my current personal projects I have a book in preparation for a UK publisher which is set for release in late 2026.
In February 2025 a selection of my images exploring Bestwood Country Park in Nottingham was exhibited at the Nottingham Central Library.
In April 2025 I published a book to accompany and expand on the exhibition 'Shifting Light, Shifting Seasons: Bestwood Through a Local Lens'.
I’m available for commissions and collaborations. Reach out via the contact page if you’d like to get in touch.
